“And I’d choose you,
In a hundred lifetimes,
In a hundred worlds,
I’d find you and
I’d choose you.”

-The Chaos of Stars

Most people suggest that Valentine’s day is the feminine holiday, all about the ladies, pink and red everywhere, aisles full of chocolate longer than the eye can see… lol, and while being a woman, I can definitely always appreciate the flowers and chocolate….I want to also be able to share the love and appreciation for my Husband on Valentine’s, so that he can feel extra special that day as well. But isn’t it hard to find a more masculine gift specifically for that holiday with all of the flowers and chocolate everywhere? Well, I have found the perfect unique men’s gift idea for you, which is a stunning wood watch from JORD Watches. Each piece is uniquely made with different types of wood such as acacia, zebrawood, maple or ebony to name a few and they also offer engraving if you want to make your gift even more personal. I am thankful to have been gifted one of these watches to give to my husband (as an early Valentine’s Day gift cos I couldn’t wait to give it to him)! When the watch arrived, I could not have been more impressed with the quality of the packaging. It was in a beautiful engraved wooden box which also has a built in drawer and included oil to preserve the wood and a cloth to clean it, and the watch itself, I. JUST. LOVE! The face, the color of the wood, the quality.

So now let me tell you a little about my husband. He is an absolute wonder, a true love of a lifetime, a caring, strong soul, strikingly handsome and the most fun, loving and amazing father to our two ridiculously handsome boys. So of course I want to be able to spoil him when I can because he is always the one taking care of us and working his tail off to give us a happy home. The most cherished and valuable thing we could have is time spent together. When you think about time at a young age, you want it to speed up and go so fast: I can’t wait until I’m ten so I will be double digits, I can’t wait until I’m thirteen so I can be a teenager, I can’t wait until I’m eighteen so I can be an adult… even now my four year old tells me, I can’t wait until I’m five mom, so I can be big lol.. You remember the days 😉 But, then as we get older we want time to slow down, we are in the real world, and miss the carefree days of being a kid, our kids grow up way to fast and the days turn into years and we just want everything to slow so we can enjoy and cherish every second and just live and love in it.

Time is such a precious keeper of the memories we have made and the plans to make new ones. We keep track of certain times that have meaning and significance in our lives. Out first son was born at 8:45pm and our second son was born 21 months later at 3:44pm. These are the times we keep in our hearts, to never forget. And that is why a watch is a keepsake, a valuable and charitable gift, because the greatest value in a watch is in the time it holds.

Now of course in being able to gift such a special gift to my Husband I had to have a special photo shoot of him and our two little hams. Those of you that know me, know how much I love photography and my favorite view through my lens is my man and our two littles. I think my two year old wanted the watch more than my husband at times because he couldn’t stop checking it out lol. I have linked the JORD Watch page here for you to browse and shop these beautiful pieces and here to the specific watch I chose for my husband.
